In 1956, when the stateswere reorganized, Kerala was formed after tying the princely states of Travancore and Cochin with Malabar, a province under Madras state. Day 01: Arrival Cochin (35 km-1 hrs)
On arrival at Cochin airport, our representative will transfer you to the Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Spend the evening by watching a Kathakali Dance performance or enjoying a Sunset Cruise. Stay overnight at the Hotel in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin
Have a hearty breakfast and go for a guided Tour
of Cochin. Visit places like Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and Chinese Fishing nets. Evening is free for shopping at Cochin. Stay overnight at Cochin Hotel.
Day 03: Cochin - Thekkady (160 km- 5 hrs)
Start your drive towards Periyar/Thekkady. On arrival check in at the Hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at Thekkady.
Day 04: Thekkady
Start your day with a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake and have a close view of the wild animals at the National Park. Return to the hotel for lunch to savor lip-smacking dishes. Visit spice plantations in the afternoon and stay overnight at Thekkady.
Day 05: Thekkady - Kumarakom (30 Km-1 hrs)
Drive to Kumarakom on the fifth day. Check into a resort at the bank of the Vembanand Lake. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or go for an Ayurvedic Massage. Stay overnight at the Hotel in Cochin.
Day 06: Kumarakom
Visit the Kumarakom wildlife sanctuary early in the morning for a bird watching tour. Come back to resort and after breakfast visit a farmhouse. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 07: Kumarakom Houseboat
Today, you will embark a houseboat cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey. En route view palm fringed canals and life of local people on the shores of Kerala Backwater. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Stay overnight at Houseboat.
Day 08: Alleppey - Kovalam (180 Km-5 hrs)
Have breakfast at the houseboat and check out of the houseboat for a journey to Kovalam. Stay overnight at Kovalam.
Day 09: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum and check in at a hotel. After some rest go for a whole day sightseeing tour of Thiruvananthapuram covering Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science and Technology museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 10: Departure Trivandrum (30 kms-1 hrs)
At the conclusion of the Kerala spice tour, reach the Airport/ Railway station at Trivandrum for your onward journey. Your Spices of Kerala tour ends here.

After breakfast drive to Trivandrum and check in at a hotel.
